DC test system
DC voltage test systems are used for indoor and outdoor testing of systems and components found in electrical power supply systems. It is possible to perform tests up to 2000kV according to IEC 60060-2.
Test systems of series L and K are suitable for test objects with low currents. Series M can be used for test objects with higher currents ranging up to several hundred milliamperes.
Furthermore, HIGHVOLT offers DC voltage sources for charging capacitor banks for voltages up to 1000kV.
Product Information
- High-voltage DC testing for transformers, cables, bushings, switchgears, etc.
- Wet and pollution testingWet and pollution testing
- DC current measurements at high-voltage potential
- Charging capacitor banks for high-performance testing
- Special testing, for example, for bipolar testing of overhead lines
- For use indoors and outdoors
Certain HV tests, e.g. at overhead lines or insulator chains are carried out under outdoor conditions.
Therefore, HIGHVOLT provides suitable test systems which can be reliably used even under adverse weather conditions. Special tests, like rain and pollution testing can be easily performed.
