Our workforce is an interdisciplinary team of experienced professionals and specialists from the fields of high voltage engineering, power electronics, measurement technology and software. With their combined expertise and under stringent quality and safety criteria, we develop intelligent test and measurement equipment for all electric power transmission components. This includes, for example, cables, transformers and switchgears.

Since 120 years, we have always been a step ahead of the competition in terms of technology. Our inventions have caught on globally and set the standard in energy technology to this day.

The huge high voltage hall allows tests with ultra-high voltages
The high voltage hall built between 1951 and 1953 is the highly visible and recognisable home of HIGHVOLT in Dresden. It is one of Saxony’s most beautiful technical monuments. With a footprint of 60 x 47 metres and a height of 33 metres, it provides space for several test bays.
The greatest advantage for our customers is that we can test inspection systems with up to 1,600 kV of AC voltage and 2,200 kV of DC voltage in the high voltage hall. It is relatively unique worldwide that manufacturer can test even systems of this size. Accordingly, our customers can depend on the guaranteed quality of all of our inspection systems.
