Text Box: Pine Springs We had 44 teens that went to Pine Springs Camp this year. It was a real chore to get them transported up there. We had several parents and adults step up to take them to camp and back; Paul Cantrell, John Bourne, Brian Wetzel, Ken and Patti Nakamae, and Sonya Harmon . There is no doubt that we could not have transported that many without help from the adult sponsors! We had an awesome week, and five of our teens were baptized; Christina Harmon, Charlie Armstrong, Cheyenne Downing, Jo Alex Thompson, and Merisa Sikorski. I would like to thank all those who helped sponsor teens to camp as well. We helped pay for 14 teens to attend Pine Springs. This could not have been done without the generosity of so many members at the church. Thanks! Mexico We took 10 teens from our youth group along with members from the congregation. This was one of our best mission trips. We got to interact with the congregation, do door knocking, and play some games with the children. We finished our work on Wednesday and had most of that afternoon to hang out with the congregation. We also presented a puppet show Tuesday to about 40 kids. It was a great week! Summer Dreaming August 22-23 we will have our annual “Summer Dreaming”. We are asking that all the teens participating please fill out a permission slip. If you can help with transportation there is a sign up sheet in Activity Center. We also love to have parents stay up with us all night! So if you can help please let me know! 6th Graders We are visiting all the 6th graders this month. We have nine new 6th graders joining the youth group. Xavier Carrrasco, Chaylene Downing, Alyssa Newton, Keira Vasey., Andrew Radke, Savannah Dunfee, Kayleena Bourne, Jeff Adler, and Stephanie Goodman. We will begin banners on August 25. It should be a great year! David

Text Box: Don’t forget about weekly Bible Classes: Sundays at 9 a.m. and Wednesday evenings at 7 p.m. Huddles will be at the Aggies for Christ Building across the street from the main church building beginning August 13. Middle School 6th graders will meet on August 25 to start making banners instead of after Labor Day from 4-5 p.m. High School Bible Studies will be meeting at the Harrelson’s 937 Briarwood Lp. on August 5 from 7-8 p.m. We leave for TCC on August 1, you need extra money for one meal in Albuquerque. Summer Dreaming is August 22-23 the cost is $25 per person, each person must have a release form from your parents!
